    Default MBA rocks

I just started working with my new MBA (i7 + 8GB RAM + 256 GB FLASH)

it really works well for such a small light computer. I can process my 1DX RAWs with DPP and dump them into CS6 while working on my blog and also processing some data! Screen is very nice and calibrates nicely too.

Highly recommended for travel and on the go image processing!

Which size screen have you got, Arash? I'm thinking of purchasing an MBA myself for travel purposes.

Thanks, Aresh. To be honest, even a 13" is too small for me to process images! I just need something light to download cards to and to have a quick look at quality when I'm abroad. (plus internet/mail etc.) I do the processing when I get back home. It's a shame the ipad doesn't take quantities of RAW images...but it doesn't. I'll probably pick up an 11' MBA.

keep in mind if you configure the 11" as the high-end 13" model it will cost almost the same, no point in 11" if you ask me, battery life too short.

Really appreciate your input on this, Arash. I may have to reconsider. As you say, they're not cheap, whichever one you buy!
    Many thanks, Rosie.
