Just a fun image, I wish I could see the face of the top bird but it is what it is.

Super action captured here Mike, wish we could see the other birds face too, but still I like it! Maybe a little more room in front could be better.

Great shot. Little confused at first. At first glance it looks as though the bottom owl has his wing over the top. Like the action, snow flying, great exposure, sharpness.

Yeah the other face would be great , but it is still killer as is. I sure as heck wouldn't throw it out.

I too agree about the face to give it a bit more context but still an excellent action capture. The kicked up snow adds a great deal. Nice job on the exp and sharpness.

    Mike -

Wonder action captured. At first, I couldn't tell it was two birds and had a really hard time trying to figure out what was going on!

Nicely exposed, great job on the composition too.

It is a fun shot, had the head been out it would be over the top!
    Very nice as is though.

It's tough to get one bird perfect in one of these skirmishes, much less two. I got a number of this type of frame when I photographed the GGOs, and never got a frame I was happy with, so congrats to you on this image! I might try to brighten things up a bit.

Bummer on no face of the second bird but this is one kick butt picture regardless and a very difficult picture to capture. Just getting them both in the frame is a feat when they are so agile and stealthy. I am seeing some aberrations in the BG on the upper right which is probably an easy fix.

Hi Mike, great action captured, and you call this a fun image. The flying snow adds to the drama. An opportunity well used.
