    This rosella has just alighted on the tree trunk about half a metre above the nest hollow.

    Canon EOS 3, Canon 100-400mm, ISO 100, Natural light with fill flash, 1/125 F11, Tower/hide, Tripod.

    exotic bird. flash made lighting a bit harsh. cutting off some light from the flash might have helped...?

    Good shot John. I like the composition, colours and the background. Perhaps you could darken the tree slightly.
