    Default Flamingo Action

One could wish for some more eye contact, but I think it is quite hard to move that huge head sideways when running straight ahead for a take off. He was looking at me though:-).

    Thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Love the low angle, especially as it relates to all the action at the surface of the water where the bird's feet are.
The composition is excellent....except for the head angle...the bill, which is quite prominent on this species, is looking
fairly lost with this HA...eye contact would be nice, but for me, seeing a better profile of the bill/head is what I'm
missing the most here. Regardless, it's an excellent image, with nice action, and a decent "sense" of place.
    Well done.

Excellent low angle and water spray Lorant. Eye could have been more visible. You are brave to handhold your lens in the water

You mean crazy; right? :-). They set me off in a boat and I didn't walk in the deep water. I made sure I had solid ground under my feet in a good area.

    Very nice shot.
Excellent low angle, nice light, great background, and do wish for a better head angle.
    Still an excellent shot.
    Well done.

I agree with you about the eye, but I do like the dynamic pose, low angle, splashing action.
