Love the vivid colours and nice head turn, Gary.

Thanks Karl. If that darn leaf was not there it would be better. I am not that good at PS.

Check out that huge bill!! Great bird, a bit of a ratty plumage though, but it makes it look as if it were quite busy at work! Good head turn for this pose. Lots of details and very sharp (face lookls good, wings look oversharpened with some crunchy edges). There is not much you could have done about those leaves except to move to the left. Not sure what your techs are, if you stopped down you could have opened up to smooth out the BG more. In post you could smooth out the white OOF lines in the BG with the clone tool at about 30-40% opacity. The top right area should be easy, but careful maksing of the bill and perch will be needed for the rest.

Alright thanks for the tips Daniel. I am trying to get a handle on PS. All the things you mentioned I will try.
I didn't notice the wings being over sharpened. I will take a better look at this one and adjust accordingly.
I never thought about using the cloning tool for the background. I will try that now.
    Thnk's
