Jeff:
I am a big fan of chickadees, such energetic little fellows.
Very nice pose, well exposed.
The catchlight looks just a bit dull, suspect you may have toned it down from the flash effect.
The dark patches in the foliage on each side of the head look a bit unusual, esp. since flash was used.
The flash use overall was very subtle, which I really appreciate.
Cheers
Randy
Jeff,
Greetings. Good looking chickadee. The darker blurred foliage (?) above and to the right of the subject are distracting and the aspect ratio draws attention to the in focus leaves on the right. Seems like a bit more space above would work. The subject itself has a nice pose and good detail.
Cheers,
-Michael-
Jeff,
Very nice image, it looks tack sharp and perfectly exposed. I am also not a big fan of the wide aspect ratio, as it take the focus away from the bird and over to the bush.

Hi Jeff, I love chickadees too and have never gotten a nice shot like this one. In my part of the world I only see them in the forest and they are feeding in pine trees, very hard to get a good capture. Nice exposure and color and I like the crop as is.
