    Default The Rain Forest

    Hi,

Made this image in the Rain Forests of Southern India a month ago. Biting leeches, fogging lens and pouring rain made shooting very challenging.

Exif: Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20@10mm with CPL, f10, 2 second shutters, Tripod + Mirror lock up for a second + Timer release, Aperture priority mode, Spot metered on the highlights with -0.3 EV Exposure compensation.

    Welcome your C&C.

    Cheers,
    Madhav

Nicely done. The slow ss worked well to the blur the water. Exp and colors look good too.

    Rachel

    Hi Madhav,
A wonderful image with good use of your S/S to give the water movement a beautiful soft affect. I like the diagonal lines in the foreground.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes,
    Mark.

All the troubles produce a worthwhile result. The diagonal log is a perfect leading line and the soft light makes this image nicely saturated. Well done.
