    Sanjeev,

    Nice job controlling the frame the subject is well placed and no distracting elements in the background. The exposure tech look solid too,..f/8 and you were there. Opportunities are (1) work the eye and lighten that area (3) was it HH or tripod and (3) I would remove a layer from the bottom. There is an open area in the bush bottom left hand corner that distracts from the image and the perch is rather large. I like it, a tripod or faster shutter might have produced a sharper image,..something to think about.

    Hello Sanjeev, nice sharp capture and I like the composition with the space on the right and the foliage below. I realize that there is not a lot of color in this bird (naturally I mean) but I would suggest adding some saturation to bring out the blue of the sky. I am not familiar with this bird, but when I researched I could only find references to the White-backed Vulture. Is there also a brown-backed version?

    i will re check on the bird ID again and get back. Jeff, it was hand held from the roof hatch of a safari vehicle.
