ABP II (CD) on iPad?

Hey guys, I was looking at buying Artie's "The Art of Bird Photography II (CD)" and was wondering if there was a way to get it on the iPad. I know that it comes on a CD, but wasn't sure it was a pdf that I could sync with the iPad or if it was only viewable when the CD is in the computer. Ideally, I could load it to the iPad and then take it with me when I go on trips.

I've not tried it on the iPad, but ABPII PDF has been moved onto both my PC laptop, and macbook air. It is not tied to "CD in the drive".

Thanks for the quick response Don. I think that if it's a pdf then I should be able to put it on the iPad. So I assume that it's just a CD with the pdf in it?

That's correct. Once you get it onto the computer, drag it into the books section of iTunes, make sure it is set to sync books, and any sub category you may have it in, and sync.
