Not many birds around lately so I've resorted to shooting fences. I have mixed feeling about this one so let me have it :) Keeper or recover the disk space?

    Technical Bits:
    Nikon D80
    Nikon 80-200 1:2.8 AF-D + 1.4TC (at 80 mm)
    ISO 400 f/16 1/10 sec

    Hi Leroy,
This scene has a very calm feel to it. My initial reaction is keep.......but.....it lacks a little punch in the yellows & greens .........if that doesn't help........then I'd trash it as there is a lot going on with the blooms & vegetation otherwise.

I've got a lot more color in this one. I purposely desaturated the image to give it this look. Perhaps that doesn't work so well. Here's the original color level.

I like the second version better Leroy. The color is what is needed here to make the image POP. Having the fence diagonal in the image is strong compositionally.

I think it's a keeper. The second one is nicer.
