Nikon D7000 w/Nikkor 80-400mm vr lens @ 400mm, tripod mounted
ISO 640; f/6.3 @ 1/320 sec; Matrix Metering -0.33
PP: PS CS5, crop, levels, curves, SH, modest Smart Sharpen
This male Northern Cardinal was photographed early today doing what it most enjoys, sampling a ripe berry from a native mulberry tree in our yard. Little has been done to clean up this image, because I very much want to show you some of the environment in which the bird lives.
BTW, this image was captured from a golf cart, which makes a very good blind!
All comments and suggestions are welcome.
