    This male Northern Cardinal was photographed early today doing what it most enjoys, sampling a ripe berry from a native mulberry tree in our yard. Little has been done to clean up this image, because I very much want to show you some of the environment in which the bird lives.

    BTW, this image was captured from a golf cart, which makes a very good blind!

    All comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Very nice environmental shot. I appreciate that you want to keep the environment but wish that the leaf covering his breast wasn't there. i like all the other leaves..just not that one! I like the spot of sun on his head.
