Finally had some Sun to capture this gorgeous little Owl in today!

Was trying to get him with the nice colours in the BG. Also wanted the head on look.

Selected BG and Saturated without Saturating Owl. Selectively sharpened Owl. Branches and sensor dust cloned out.

Jody your owl shots are outstanding and this one is no exception. The head on capture with incredible stunning eyes. really puts it over the top for me !!!

You make daytime owl flight images seem so easy and you do it with such flair! I am totally envious of your skills and the opportunities you have with the owls. Headon shots are always impactful for me, great stuff. :)

Sad, that you missed the right moment, though 8.5 fps of Mark II - the widely spread winds.

Who said I missed the moment? :) I liked this pose better though as it showed more movement to me. Thank you!
