    Hi folks ... back from a short summer holiday in Austria and the south of Germany .
    Been cycling for the most time , only a few short shooting trials ....
    Best and safest bet have been the Marmots of the Grossglockner in Austria , somehow habituated through the large number of tourists that visit the mountain peak .
    So I took the opportunistic way to get some shots and spend some hours up on top .


    Canon EOS R 6 II
    RF 100 - 500 IS L at 500 mm
    HH
    Full frame

    F 9 : Iso 2500 ; 1/2500 sec

    Processed with DT 4.8.1 and PSCC 2024 ; bit more DOF would have been nicer with hindsight

    An amusing image, I like the angle, DOF looks good but as you say maybe just a tad more. Colours and details look excellent.
