Hi Will, I like this a lot.
Love the fine feathers catching the wind, the whole habitat and killer sky and the Alness of the Grouse. I just feel it needs the whole frame moving to the left for the Grouse to look into and 'perhaps' a hint of Saturation ie +15.

Hi Will, must be grouse time across the pond, I see the images from you and Jon. I like the image, birds looks great, grasses add, and the background is pure. I think moving the bird a little to the right might improve the image. Thank you for sharing.

I am in agreement with Steve, but otherwise quite good. I've always enjoyed your postings of this species!
Thanks for that guys much appreciated.
With regards to the crop, I can see why moving the bird from a more central position would work. With the bird's body facing to our right and the head looking back, I left enough in front of the bird. Regarding the LHS, and in the direction the bird was looking, I left slightly more space, and I liked the look of the grasses on the LHS showing the wind direction, so decided to leave them in.
