Nice colour profile here, Jonathan. I also like the soft light (due to being in the shade), which enhanced the details on the hare. I also like that the hare is "framed" by grass on either side. In a perfect world more head-turn in your direction would have been nice.
Might look at brightening it overall just a tad, and desaturating greens ever so slightly.

It's the grass framing that takes this above the norm here Jonathan, nicely positioned, the abundance of greenery really hits you and makes for quite a dramatic scene, well done.

Hi Jon, I quite like it, but for me:
It's too dark, irrespective of being in the shade, you can still lift it, whilst retaining in shadow look
It's too tight at the foot, a sliver more, I just feel the subject is slipping out of frame, more below a tad less above
Greens are just pushed a fraction, ie +4 Magenta just helps IMHO
Sadly the subject is angled away.
Just my take.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, much appreciated. Steve, I cropped a little off the base because it was messy with dead tatty looking branches/twigs.

Funny enough you are " complaining " many times about my grass color .... well this is quite close or similar , how come
??
The hare himself does look quite nice albeit he is angled away , but it does like he is checking the viewer

Andreas, I admit the grass colour concerned me a little, I do feel it is a little too intense but I felt I was recreating the scene.

LOL Jon .... actually I do NOT find the greens too intense , just too dark .
