Taken at a local reserve, this was the best angle I could get, the alternative being drowned in wet peat!. Due to the concerted effort of conservationists these little gems are now on the increase. Not one of my better days, I managed to smash my long telephoto lens, i.e. the one used to take this image.

    Model Name : E-M1MarkIII
    Focal Length : 300.0mm
Focal length in 35 mm film : 601.0mm
    Exposure mode : Manual exposure
    ISO Sensitivity : 250
    Exposure compensation : 0.0 EV
    Shutter : 1/400 sec

It's a nice pose with the wings on a diaganol. I do like the head on view. Too bad about the lens. Pretty hairy looking dragonfly.

Nice perspective. I like the diagonal stem and the composition. sorry about your lens. Hope it is not damaged beyond redemption.
