Taken this Feb. about 15 minutes after the sun set using a tripod mounted Mark3 and the 28-135mm lens at 90mm for 5 sec. at f22. Also used a total of 4 stops of graduated ND filters, soft stop, and a Lee enhancing filter. With the enhancer...........did I put the colors over the top?

I seem to like a bit of saturation but I would say this seems pretty natural to me. This is beautiful and the colors all work very well together. The far mountains seem a little flat, and look almost pasted in, maybe a tad of contrast to them?

    Roman,

Luminous Landscape had an evaluation of this filter and he noted a pronounced magenta color cast that I notice here. I did a gray point balance and desaturated it a bit. Having never used this filter I did a Google on it and came up with the LL review at http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tu.../filters.shtml and again at http://www.luminous-landscape.com/re...mparison.shtml.

I also did a selective local contrast enhancement on the BG mountains. USM amount 30, radius 60.

    My version above.

    Hi Roman,

It will look a whole lot better on the original. Great image. The rock on left looks "very" balanced. :)

Had a look at your last few images posted, Wd on achieving what we all set out to do well, and that is painting with light. Love the color saturation in your pics.
