Barbara, What a great idea for a BG. I love it. The texture is very nice also. I love the crossed stems and the color tones. Nicely done.

what an innovative image Barbara. I love the macro daisy as a bg and the way the two intertwined daisies reach up into the frame is delightful. I like the textures you chose, but would also like to see a version where the texture is a bit softer/muted.. mostly because I'm really liking the details in the two daisies, they make a great focal point. Beautiful :)

Thank you Denise and Cindy. I love interaction with some of my flowers. Usually I paint off much of the texture on my subject. This is the rare one where I didn't. I'll mess with a version where the texture might be toned down a bit.

Very creative, Barbara - I love how you mirrored the BG with the FG. Only tiny thing I see is a small black dot just to the top left side of the two flowers. I know it's probably part of the texture but I'd clone it out. Another stunning textural image!

Yes, now that you mention it, I do wonder where that little spec came from. I've cloned it out on my computer. Should I just leave this as is? Re-upload?
    Thanks, Julie.

So delicate and beautiful, I really like the large flower as the BG. Really lovely Barbara.
