    Default Rising Sun

    Everglades National Park, February 2008
    Canon 5D, 300mm f/4
    1/400, f/10, ISO 200

I was composing this photograph when the Red-shouldered Hawk flew in and perched...never could have planned that, but I took advantage of the opportunity!

Nice work and the bird puts it over. Well seen Judd.

CHANGE MY MIND: Deleted Comment "I would be tempted to clone out the two taller bushes at the left and right edges along the undergrowth line just to even the flow out. But that is minor."

I had been debating on the cloning comment all morning and came back now and decided I like how the edges balance out.

Oooooooh, I LOVE this image, Judd! Not a thing that I would change. This would have been incredible even without the hawk.....how lucky you were to have him fly in and make it even more perfect! Nice work.....

Stellar presentation. The hawk and the partial view of the sun increase the impact. Well Done!
