    Hi:
I have been a member of this wonderful site since its inception and this is my first post.
This image is an actual collision of two water drops dripped into a 2" pool of water.
    Specs are as follows:
    Canon EOS MIII body
    Canon 100mm lens
    1/250 sec @ f/22
2 Canon 580 Speedlite strobes, set in manual mode at 1/64. A blue and red gel filter.
Basic adjustments to the RAW file, slight crop and flipped horizontally.
Your c/c are welcomed and appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Susan

Hi Susan...All I can say is that this is one impressive image. From the lighting, stop action, droplets and even the placement of the dominant splash is superb. Another unusual feature is the oval shape the splash created giving it a look somewhat out of the norm. Technically, this is a very difficult image image to capture and you did it masterfully. Well done!!

    Absolutely an amazing image!

It would actually be interesting to see an image of your "studio" setup creating/capturing this moment.

What do you mean you "flipped" horizontally?

What do you mean you "flipped" horizontally? In PS I used the transform tool to flip the image.

    Susan, Wonderful image!
The colors are striking, and the frozen action just excellent.
THis is basically the same set-up I use to freeze hummingbird wings, and you've given me some great ideas here! Thanks!
    Cheers -

    Sandy
