Killer good Juan. Has to be the best Belted Kingfisher shot I have seen! Fantastic details, beautiful wing position and the background, the prey items, the water droplets, the crop are all great. This is a heavily photographed bird and spot and you have managed a unique image from there. Just great!

Ditto all the positives above plus extra! Were you on a tripod? Was AF active at the moment of exposure or were you pre-focused with AF turned of?

Amazing! Superb action shot with superb details. Belted Kingfishers are a nightmare here in Cayman, I have never been able to get close to one to photograph, they even fly away from cars.

Thank you David, you are referring to the D5 that I ordered after we spoke. Funny that I basically ordered it for this trip, but after really thinking about it, I decided to send it back and stick with my D850 and D500. I did it right there from the Fedex office, I can say that I had a D5 that I never touched.... :-)
