Out of the Box Image of the Week for the week ending July 4th, 2014: Randall Farhy - Shaking Off The Cold
Congratulations Randall!
This was taken during a sleet storm in January 2011. The Chickadee was perched on a shrub in my front yard, timing was fortunate to capture a quick flip of it's wings and tail. The branches had a thin coating of ice on them, causing serious color fringing which left white edges when addressed. At some point in the future I may revisit this one.
