What a splendid bird. Wonderful light, great frontal landing pose. Must have felt as if those talons were heading straight for you. Great capture!

Bags of impact but the image looks a little noisy to me, I am sure it would clean up - was it a large crop?

light and pose are wonderful, but I also see a lot of noise in the image. Easy fix with some NR software.

Killer bird and photo, sweet, sweet light. and fully extended wings. And a tip of the hat to ground level flight shooters!

Was the bird baited? If not, how did you know where it would land???

    Which Canon 600?

    with love, artie

Due to the presence of food waste, eagles are active in that area

what a pretty dramatic shot, got the light and the pose and drama. cannot ask for a better HA during landing. Agree IQ has suffered a bit, grain is visible, perhaps a large crop?
