    Default Over The Hill

Not as romantic as most.....lol, just wrote this

    Over The Hill

Here I am alone going over the hill
The wind is calm and the waters still

I've worked really hard and given my all
But I feel a peace as I heed the call

The light is getting brighter and my heart almost still
As I go a little bit farther over the hill

Dave, Wow!! Most impressive!!! Your image speaks a thousand words-but your written words are so strong and deep. The last few words really got me-they fit perfectly together.

This is awesome Sir Dave! So meaningful, I can feel for the old horse. The picture matches perfectly. I sense the sadness, the reluctance of the end drawing near. Congrats!

I love it! The look of the horse totally sets the scene for that poem sentiment. You matched them perfectly and really did a wonderful job on both.

    Superb, Dave. Touching. Heartbreaking. Beautiful.

You say so much with so few words.

As Denise said, the words and the image fit perfectly.
