    The colors are really nice here, I think a bit more off the bottom would look nice.

    Hi Richard,

    I'm OK with the crop - I'm a bit biased towards looser crops anyway. But my eyes are immediately drawn to the oof purple flowers rather than the bird. I wonder if a bit of shadow/ highlight work on the bird might help.

    Love the background here, and I like the head pointed upwards. I could see a truer vertical with some off the right (actually, I see a faint straight clone mark close to where I'd crop it). I feel some flash would have done wonders to the image. A bit of a hot spot on the chest is worth revisiting to see if some details are extractable in there. Overall an appealing image Richard.

    Ok thanks all
    recropped, tried to reduce hot spot on chest, difficult to mask out and reblend area like that
    any tips? may be slightly different tones now then OP
