Beautiful light and a nice looking back over the shoulder pose, Robert.

Great light, tones and pose. I would apply some NR to the bg.

    Robert:

Nice look back pose, sharp, strong sense of time of day from light temp.

Barbed wire generally isn't my favorite perch, but the low contrast between it and the background makes it less bothersome here.

    Cheers

WOW. Light to kill for. Fine image with great comp and exposure. Wish for a natural perch , but beyond control.

Ok, I'm going against the grain here, but I rather like barb wire perches, better when they are rusty though, many of my rural bird shots are found perched on the millions of miles of barb wire fences.

Love the colours in this, the background compliments the bird nicely and a great pose for the camera....just needs the backdrop smoothed out a little

Fantastic light, gorgeous bg and sharp details. Such a cute bird too.
