    Hi

    Cattle Egret taking a ride, captured whike walking evening time in the Portuguese countryside near Santarem

    Wanted to get the flowers so stopped down to f 10
    7d 100-400 at 400 HH ISO 640 SS 1/200 Ev +.33

    Amusing behaviour, well captured, the bird looks a bit hot with the whites and wonder if maybe the color is a bit overcooked...but then again I have not seen the very verdant land of the UK.

    So perhaps I should buy me a cow costume and lie in wait for an egret as it may make photographing them a lot easier hehehe

    Thanks Rachel lower pov , yes, problem here was meadow is lower than the road; walking through it a no go, many ticks etc and err the odd bull lol
    I think the whites going hot is something to do with compression? I process in 16 bit and save out as , I wonder....
    my images all appear darker on the web and I can t find a definitive answer
