Default Why does screen go black when using clone tool?

In CS6 when I use a tool, such as Clone Stamp, after I make a selection and when I click on the mouse to apply the selection the screen goes black. I can't see where the selection is being applied which is very awkward. The selection is applied.

I have searched Adobe Help and am not finding any answers.

I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

    Thanks.

    Dave,
Have you found a solution yet? I don't have CS6 and have not seen this problem. Have you tried Adobe support?

    Thanks Roger.
I had searched Adobe forums with no luck. I then went to an Adobe online support and got to a point where I did not have access. I suppose it was a subscription service or something, so I moved on and asked the question here.
In the end I rebooted and have not had that issue again. A few other twitchy little things have happened, which I assume are due to operator error when working with complex programs.

    Thanks again for asking.
