Not an easy one to achieve, but nice natural composition and the bird...errr...lime, all part of the naturalness of it all. I don't think you could improve upon much with composition, maybe a touch more sharpen particularly on the foremost bird.

What a great opportunity to see, be nice to go back each day

    Chris:

Phil covered it well. A remarkable line up here, and very captivating image. If time allowed, I would have gone for a smaller f/stop at some point to try and increase your DOF, but it really works quite well as is. I like the framing as well. Because of the lichens, the whitewash seems a bit less objectionable than usual!

    Nicely done.

    Cheers

This is an amazing image, Chris. I love it! What an opportunity, and you've made the most of it. I love how natural this image is, and wouldn't touch a thing.

This is quite colorful and what a crop of young! Do kestrels usually hatch this many? I like the image and I bet mom and dad are working hard to feed this crew.

I like this a lot even if you think it is not perfect. Great line up and real sense of place (rock ledge)

You are a harsh self critic. I absolutly love this one. Habitat, cuteness, great birds, lovely color.

Great opportunity and you did well with it.
The chicks are beautiful and to get them in a line like you did is just superb.
