    Default Ominous Clouds at Sunset

I posted a gallery of images from this recent sunset online and this image seemed to be the favorite of many who commented. It's one of mine too. 5D Mk II, ISO 200, f8, 1/200 sec, 24 - 105 lens. I used a little split toning in Lightroom to tone the highlights in the sky a little more orange/red and I think that made it look better than the other similar images, then I used Nik Tonal Contrast.

It's hard to find a "new" sunset photo, but this one does the job in my book. Like the bits of light on the cloud breakthroughs and the reflections on the water. Tree edges are sharp. Thanks for sharing.

Judy - this works really well and I like the blue tones in the clouds and simple comp.

I like this a lot, great colors and sky. The foreground is not distracting and the reflections are great. Wonderful colors in the clouds.
