Laughing gulls make such great subjects. I wish for just a touch of separation and a better angle on the one doing the "listening."

I'm a little bit bothered by the dark strip at the top, Maybe you can magic wand it and run some curves to lighten it.
I guess courting season is here :)

I realize this was shortly after sunrise, but I think that the whites are still a little too yellow. Just my $0.02.

Very nice composition Rich, like the colors on your sublects.. my only nit is that black band on the top portion of the frame...would recommend to subdew the black...outside of this, I like it...:D
