    One night we were standing on a viewing platform at Pinery
    when a few males kept landing on a dead branch, right beside us.
    Went back next evening but they never came. It was a one night wonder.

    Very nice color and detail, good use of flash, bg is wonderful. I love these little birds.

    Karl, your hummer image is a humdinger. It has wonderful detail, great BG & the color is beautiful. I like the perch also. If you have the canvas, I might consider a bit more space on the LHS.

    Lovely shot Karl. I really like the colors and exposure.
    It seems to happen often that events often do not repeat themselves or at least in the same way. Well done to take advantage of the opportunity.

    Very nice hummer. Lovely gorget, pose, and BG. I find the perch too bright for my taste.

    Hi Karl, just love the colourful iridescence on this species, sharp, and that BG is a killer.
