    Default Owl in nest

Here is another Burrowing owl image. He was hiding in the nest with his head barely visible above the grass carefully monitoring the surroundings. The natural camouflage helps the owl blend in this enviroment seamlessly

Excellent Arash! Love the golden light and tones, the staredown, and the comp. Might consider lightening the one dark patch behind the head, my eye keeps going to it.

Very well seen and executed, Arash. The light and colors are stunning, and you have a lot of details here.

Hi Arash, excellent detail and the light is awesome. I like the line of OOF foliage in the FG.

    Arash,

Greetings. Great eyes (both bird & for seeing this). My taste would be for slightly less magenta.

    Cheers,

Beautiful image Arash - great eye contact and beautiful warm light. I agree with Melissa on the dark OOF area over the bird's left eye. Well done.

Nice light, very sharp, great stare. Love it.
I might be tempted to crop little bit from right to center the subject. That would also get rid of that yellowish flower (?). Just a thought.

Arash, well executed. loved the low angle, comp, light and details. Good thing about owls is that you can shoot at wider apertures for the head-on pose and get nice BG blur like here. If mine, I'd add some more room at top.

Wicked close up, Arash, and I also like the comp you chose. It feels very intimate.
