Just a simple shot of this grebe in winter plumage but makes me appreciate how lucky we all are having this amazing technology with such great lenses and amazing cameras with which we can do almost anything we want.

A beautiful and vivid capture of a pulchritudinous waterbird! You're quite right about the equipment that exists today, that's for sure. That water is delicious!

One might think another Grebe took this photo - I have just got a pair of 'Fly and Dry' chest high waders, tested them at Manly Dam the other day.

I like the water drops and the blue is lovley. Nice Image!

Gotta love that water Ofer, such a vivid blue and satin like sheen, sharp and the water drops top this off nicely

Sweet little grebe and love that silky blue water. I had the same thoughts as you the other day regarding the technology that we have at our fingertips these days. Opens up so many possiblilties.

A lovely, simple image. It is all about the shades of blue in the water and the texture of the water for me. Also the light illuminates the face perfectly,
