    Default Eurasian Spoonbill [III]

A recording of the series, although the spoonbill has perceived the camera (silent mode active), he was completely relaxed.
These are the moments you never forget as a nature photographer.

The light on the body and tip of bill is lovely.
I like the still water and partial reflection.
I wish the head wasn't so much in shadow.

    Frank:

The side lighting does give wonderful definition to the feathers on the body and the colors on the bill. AS Gail mentioned, a little more light on the face would have been nice. You might be able to slighly lighten it without looking unnatural.

    I like the gentle ripples.

    Cheers

Hi Frank, good defination on the feathers, well exposed, and I like how we can see the reflection of the water on the lower part of the feathers. Yes to maybe trying to lighten the head.

Wonderful shot. Excellent soft light, love the ruffled feathers, excellent feather detail, and just love the calm setting.
    Well done.
