    Michael, I like the crop and composition of this image...it looks like you may have had a bit of diffusion setting in from shooting at f/22 (I share that issue with you...that fine line between wanting more DOF and trying to maintain maximum detail and sharpness)...and by the way that is a beautiful fish in your profile image!

    Hi Michael and welcome to the Macro forum! Well, you're off to a great start with your new lens! This is a very strong image with an interesting subject, soft light, good comp, good overall sharpness, and the water drops are a plus! A minor tweak I would suggest is adding just a bit of space on the right (if you have it) so that the three water drops are not clipped by the frame edge. I hope to see more of your macro work!
