    another one of my quarry wheatears,cannon500mm IS L USM,70MM FL,TRIPOD,CROP.BG TOPAZ,darkened BG highlights,F5.6,ISO800,1/250S.COMMENTS GOOD OR BAD,THANKS.

    Good exposure and focus, excellent detail, there is a little noise but it is not objectionable. The only thing I don't like is the OOF rock, I don't know if you managed any more images as he was on the rock - did he move so he was isolated with a clear background? (They usually do not follow the script which is why I suspect you posted this one.)

    Nice detail in the bird. Possibly if you tone the rock down a bit, the slight OOF area would be less apparent. May also like to see a little more catch light in the eye. Nice one overall. TFS

    Hi Chris, lovely pose from the wheatear, and the slightly open bill adds interest. I like you OOF BG with the various colours, and if anything, I would lighten the wheatear a touch.
