    Default Red Avadavat/Red Munia. Molting male.

    May, 2012. This male has yet to be acquire full red colored breeding plumage.Cropped and sharpened.

    Canon EOS: 550D, 100-400.
    Av mode, F: 5.6, 1/640, ISO: 200, Spot metering, White balance: Auto. HH.

    New species for me Satish, very low ISO there might have been a touch sharper with ISO 400, diificult as it is HH
    might try a little oiff the top and left, keep them coming, we need to see more Indian specialities (other than curry lol)

    Lovely perch and blue sky Satish, slightly lower at eye level would be even nicer....but the birds never seem to understand that hehehe

    A bit steep angle but a very attractive bird. It appears a bit oversaturated?

    Gorgeous bird, nice looking perch. Sharpness looks good too. Steep shooting angle already mentioned.
