This newborn Puku was being coaxed by her mother to join her down on the grassy plain, it was very apprehensive but eventually found her way down via a less steeper path.

Hi Marc - tender moment, well captured. I like the rim light effect. Just wish the puku was angled a bit more toward us than away. Was it wet, the fur seems a bit crunchy but it may be because it was wet. I don't remember your feelings on cloning but if printing, you might consider cloning out the dark patch intersecting the rear. Very nice to see such a young puku.

    Hi Marc,
good exposed or processed under the lightning conditions.Like the detail and sharpness, not looking crunchy for me.
I would choose a bit different comp,by cutting off half from bottom. On my screen i do see a slight blue cast on the rock and the hooves.Easy to fix.

    Cheers Andreas

This was a newborn Rachel, hence the wet fur and most likely born within the hour.

    nice one Marc
I like the rim-light and wonder if you've tried going darker with this one as a whole (while still retaining detail).
