Black tailed godwit

Throughout the months may and june you see alot of godwits in holland sitting on a pole, a 'classic' godwit pose.
Taken in the early morning, in the car, canon 300mm f4 with 1.4 converter

This is very very nice, light is V good, love that posture, head and bill angle work well I think, all very sharp and well detailed, superb colour including the smooth background......I'm thinking vertical aspect shot with a little more off the right

I like it. Classic agricultural area wildlife imagery. I like the head turn, raised foot. The comp is tight at the top though, and although I like fence posts in these types of images I do wish it was an older, more weathered one. Excellent BG and colours!

Excellent exposure and sharpness, BG is superb. Need a little more room at the top.
