    I figured maybe a talking bird would suit the theme. Most of the breeding Least Terns at Sandy Hook are in a roped off area , thus the necessarily large crop. This was from 3 days ago. There were a few tiny fuzzballs around, but most birds were still on their eggs. Lots of them, but at a considerable distance.

    D7000, 500f4 + 1.4, ISO 640, 1/3200s @ f/6.3 manual, gitzo and mongoose.

    I don't know how big the crop is but this looks very good. Great wing position of the incoming bird, well exposed and both birds sharp. I like also like that a good amount of the grasses are in focus. Nice food offering and title.

    Wonderful image of Terns in habitat.Loved the great pose of landing bird with fish,nice details in grey and whites.I like the sharpness and lights too.

    Nice birdscape!
    Some times, very tight portraits are not too appealing, in this case the green blades offer a nice framing for the birds, I like it.
