    Default Brown snake Eagle

taken on a recent trip to the Kalahari, we had lots of rain and overcast conditions great for the Kalahari, not necessarily for capturing raptors. This was taken on a cloudy day hence the grey sky with a slight hue to it...typical of the Kalahari sky.

    D3 f8 @ 1/1500 iso 800. 200-400 vr lens . wimberely head and car bracket.

raw conversion , cropped about 15%. minor PS work ,

As a matter of personal taste, I don't care for the color cast to the sky, but if you like it that is all that counts.

In either case, the cast has shown up in the bird as well and should be eliminated from at least that part of the frame.

I like the head position and the rear wing, but the front one feels a little uncomfortable to me.
