Sandy Hook, yesterday morning. These guys are really fast. I had a low keeper rate, but managed to get some without clipped wings. Did better after I took off the 1.4 TC.

Lovely shot Bill, love the comp, wing position and great two-tone background. Well exposed, but maybe you could bring the blacks up a notch in post to reveal that eye just a bit more?

Nice one Biill, the hint of habitat at the bottom is very nice.
Really sharp, nice IQ, maybe try to lighten the head a tad, or just add a catchlight.
THe wings are very nice and a nice comp.

nice flight pose Bill, like the BG too. They are tough to get. I wish the sun was behind you and it seems like you had to add catch-light in post? looks a bit unreal given the direction of light.

    cool flight shot!

NIce sharp flight capture, Bill. I like the 2 tone BG with hint of texture from the grasses. Agree that it would be nicer to see more eye detail.

Hi Bill, good wing position captured in flight, and I like how the tern is angled downwards towards the bottom foliage. Having said that, I do like the mixture of sky and foliage BG.
