The chicks were just hatched yesterday and barely visible.
I will post some new born pics later.
Tough to get these against the dark trees!

    Hi Dan,

About the shot, love his wings position and the frontal look toward us, also love the prey half eaten. The head is almost centered as should be in a frontal head look, but the right wing is to need the end of the frame, I might given more space at right side and less at left side.

You have some great shots of Ospreys, I'm jealous ;)

Also have the Osprey in the summer in my region, but only two or three, they don't breed in Portugal so they never are in the same spot and it's a very big lake so they are very difficult to photograph...
You have to give me some advices about how to get some shots of them :)

Excellent eye contact, I like the BG and of course the baby food is great. Nice exposure on the bird.

Love the stare and the prey, Dan. The dynamic pose is excellent.
Agree about easing up on the sharpening a bit.

Nice action shot; like the pose of the flying osprey. Good view on the headless fish too:-). One more vote for less sharpening. Great capture.

Great comp, exposure, eye contact, wing position and background, feeling of motion...it's all there, and the fish adds even more. I agree on just a bit of oversharpening.

Hi Dan, great head on capture, with the eye contact spot on. I do like the wingspread, and his catch, and I feel your foliage BG is great.
