Default Bonelli's Eagle (Aquila fasciata) - With prey and eye :)

After my previous post that can be seen here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ata)-with-prey, where many people said that they wished an eye view of the eagle, here is another with the that eye view...

Terrific action captured, Humberto. Excellent details, setting and execution. I can't help feeling sorry for the hapless prey.

Great moment in nature captured ,Humberto .One can sense the power of this regal bird.
I would tone down the whites in the rocks somewhat. Great bg.

Great moment, shooting angle and BG. what makes this special is the face of the prey. If mine, I'd probably reduce the contrast a bit and see if it improves.

Bonelli's is my one of favorite eagles. Where I grew up in India...we had a big nest close to home and I've spent many hours observing it in my school days. So any image of this bird always brings back those great memories. Thx for sharing.

Humberto, another very cool photo, although this does lack the IQ of the first for me.
it is a bit bright, but great action and I do like seeing the eye.

i think this is simply spectacular.
The visible eye and the prey's position, although graphic, grab the viewers attention fully.
The rocks can be toned down a bit but everything else is excellent.
Well done and a 10 out of 10 from me on this image,
    Gail

Thank you all for your comments...
In the repost I decrease the contrast a bit and the whites on the rocks too, Did two layers masks, one for the bird and other for the rocks with difference sharpness when reduced...

Kaustubh, its also my favorite eagle, In my region there are 3 couples nesting, unfortunately, In Portugal and Spain its an endangered specie, like all big eagles...
Hope in Asia their populations are more stable...
