No Message Notifications

Blake,

I'm not getting any message notifications on a thread I started recently.

Check out Avian/Captive. I have a thread called Bird on a Rope.

When I posted, I had Instant Notification On.

I received the notification from Gus.

When I returned to the thread, Lana replied also, but I received no
notification.

So I replied to her thread and the Instant Notification was still checked.

Since then, three replies and no notifications.

Just thinking out loud here...

What happens if Lana replied to Gus? Could that be breaking the
chain some how?

But then again, if someone replied to my second post, I should've received
a notification on at least the next one.

Now I've got the brain pains, Doug :) I'm going to have to think about this one...

To add to the pain, Robert replied to the same message and I did get the notification.

Who knows. I wouldn't lose to much sleep over it. Since I don't have a life, I'm
always checking anyway.

Maybe I'm only getting replies from Canon users :) ?

Happened again.

This time in Travel.

I started a thread. George replied. Got the email notification. Maxis
replied. No email notification.

The only common denominator between the two threads so far, is
it doesn't seem to work after the second reply. Who knows.

I'll try and stop starting new threads :)

Are you visiting the thread after the first reply?

1. Where do you see that "...visit again"? I'm in the Quick Reply box now and
don't see that.

2. If I understand the visiting part...yes. For example this thread. I came back last
night and posted the update about the Travel forum. Made sure instant notification
was on, submitted.

You reply to my last post and no email. I only found it cause I went there on my
own.

Hmmmm... that's wierd. The "visit again" is in the first email notification that you receive, all the way down at the bottom. I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.
