    From a couple mornings ago. Bird was centered and I cropped to move bird to right a bit and leave some grass stalks at bottom left.
    5DIII, 500mm, f/4, 1/2000, ISO3200
    I also removed rain drops and toned down highlights.

    There it is, with wingtips! I really like this one Dave...great details on the bird and fabulous FG and BG...this one really works for me!

    Certainly looks in full glider mode, only once have I ever had a raptor fly towards me, a rare chance and handled nicely on camera...perhaps crop from the bottom a little more and remove the reedy grass

    nice flight pose against a good BG. this will work better in a 16:9 pano crop given the wing position

    Dave, incredible shot indeed. I am liking the f/4 effect....nice creamy bokeh. Good AF job. soft light has really helped. Well done.
