Full frame pano crop and added 5% canvas to top and right. Rotated very slightly and cloned debris behind and to left of bird

After uploading realized I should have cloned out specular highlights on feet and legs.

Beautifully done, Gail. Love the comp with the splashed water in the back. Droplets off the bill are a nice tought oo.
Details, light and pose all great. Like the pano crop, but more on top would work too.

Very nice use of the pano crop Gail and the IQ and light is superb.
I like the comp, the water splash behind the bird was worth keeping it in the photo.
Sometimes we do care about what is behind the bird!

Awesome light and colour ...the running pose is awesome . Nice thought to keep the water splash in the compo , adds more dynamism to the image . Not a fan of the pano crop though ...I feel it cramps the movement of the bird .

Lovely exposure and bird really pops off the bg. I really like the pose. Pano seems fine to me. I might redo the bg shoreline in front of far wing just to make it uniform. Not a big deal, just a thought.

    Another winner Gail.

These guys are so intense when they are hunting, from the wing span to the movement of their feet.

Great light and love the pose with the foot slightly above the water.

Hi Gail, love the light here, and well timed to get the pre - strike pose. Nice and sharp, with good IQ on the splashes too. I do like the two droplets flying off the bill. Your low perspective works well.

    Nice stalking pose captured, Gail.
I like your choice of canvas, showing the splash.

Great chasing pose and splashing water. I like the pano idea but I think you cold go with more canvas at top IMO, and I like Dave's idea of rwetouching the darker shoreline (or wave?) at the wing. Techs are A1.
