    Default Snowy Egret

I photographed this one during spring break in March at Ft. Desoto. There were several Snowy Egrets that were hanging around a researcher doing a fish count.....and getting a few tidbits. I stayed in my car as they were too ansy when I tried to get out. This one was a little too close to the edge of the frame so I added some canvas to the left.
    Canon MkIIn, 500mm, beanbag
    ISO 200, f/9, ss 1/1000
DPP RAW conversion, CS3: USM, slight crop and added some canvas

Hope this looks ok as I'm posting from my iBook at school that makes everything look too light.

EXP looks fine from here. Love the raised foot but would love to see the other one... And a bit better subject to imaging sensor juxtaposition; the bird is walking slightly away from you. Well done on the sharpness.

Love the plumage and the soft light and soft colors are beautiful. Sharpness and details are great.

Agree with Artie on the missing foot.

This is a great looking bird and capturing him all ruffed up was great. The missing foot is unfortunate.
